When unlocking the car manually, either w/ key or other instrument.

Confused, so your saying if I lock the car with the remote and then try to open with the key, the alarm goes off?

Try rolling down the window, setting the alarm (beep the horn), and then try to manually unlock the door and open it from the outside. The horn should start sounding.

I know for a fact that if I lock NEMO with the remote and open with the key his alarm goes off. Just ask my neighbors, at 11:15PM, is when it happened.

Yeah Solman, But I think the horn only blows for like 2 minutes, and then resets.

Article in our paper here, said most people disregard car horn/theft devices because of their false alarm rate (?). Thieves just keep on doing what they intended without interruption.

Plus there's no sensor for the smart key in the door locks.

If your insurance company doesn't know, YOU need a new insurance company.
