You got to love Fiber Optics

I had to replace my oil pressure sender. I did this without removing the intake or starter motor. Just snaked the Bore scope in to see what I was doing then R&R the sender with a socket.
These Bore scopes or Fiber optic cameras are worth it to have. I took a pic of the threaded hole for the sender. I was 4" off it with 10X magnification. You can see the porosity of the block casting. While I was at It, I took a Pic of my intake valves. They look good for 227K miles.
The stills are not so great but, the raw feed to the monitor has a much better pic.

Wow. Those valve stems look really clean. I would hate to see the ones in my SS with the 2.0L DI.

Yep, you hit it right on the head, FMG.

RF2 doesn't have Direct Injection, so his valves are clean.

Is that one of those cheap ones that feed a smart phone? Ones I've seen $10-$20.

I bought and use one of these "cheap ones' with my smart phone. I use it at work all the time and it is flawless, can not imagine NOT having it around.
