Employee Pricing for Ignition Switch Recall

GM has announced that Employee Pricing on any new GM vehicle is available to victims of the ignition switch recall. Has anyone been able to purchase a new vehicle at Employee Pricing? If so how does the process work?

If it's a new announcement, how could someone have done it already?

Don't you think your local GM sales manager would be the one to ask about process?

It is not new. It was announced in May.

The dealer where I bought my HHR from has been trying to buy it back from me for at least 3 months (contacted me 4x's), may have mentioned something about employee pricing, but wasn't really listening because "ain't selling"

I get letters from dealers about wanting my '06 HHR. It is just a ploy to get you to buy a new car. Unfortunately Chevrolet has nothing in their product line that I find appealing. I have been looking at a Buick Encore (A Chevrolet Trax in 2015), but the price for the Buick gets too close to $30K for the car. I don't see many GM cars worth $30K.

Employee pricing is one thing but how much are they giving for the HHR in trade?

You do not need to trade in your HHR
