In for recall repair.

2009 80k mile LS HHR went into the dealer for a new automatic transmission shifter assembly. The car wouldn't shut off and I had to remove the fuel pump fuse and wait until it stalled out. Then disconnected the battery.
While it is in, they are checking for the 4 recall problems on my car. Hopefully get it backin a few days. I have a loaner 2015 Chevy Cruz until mine is fixed.

Hi Selmer54,

Glad to hear the dealership was able to provide a loaner while your HHR is being serviced. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, but please keep us posted on the end result. If there's anything we can do to further assist, please feel free to PM us your VIN, full contact information, and dealership name.

Thanks,
Amber N.

Did you get your HHR back? Which shifter did they use? The newer one with the leather boot and sunglasses tray?
