15,000 miles and all is well
well I hit the 15,000 mark time for a check-up this week, at the dentist....er dealer......
so far after 15 the car is doing very well. I've only had one time during a hurricane that the performance was a noticable diffrence due to pressure changes, my sinuses fared worse than the car. The floor mats suck, and the SS emblems on the seats frizz a little, the 10" sub-woofer rattles when it is really thumping, and the love-bugs just love my car. whenbought new I thought the skirts on the side were a little cheap, but despite being kicked and stepped on they are holding up well. the door rubber and engine rubbere seals seam cheap in their inability to stay put during a good cleaning. the rims scratch pretty easy, and the stearing bushings are getting a little softer(to be expected) the brakes are holding up well(lots of dust) and I have painted the calipers red which haven't chipped.
Driving: I tend to drive the car pretty hard, not alot of WOT, but plenty of let's pass this guy. Ido find myself driving religously with the Launch control active and find the driving experience that much more fun by manually shifting from L1,I,D with no problems. I try not to over do anything with the car, but that said.... after 15,000 it still moves like a bat out of hell...
I will be hooking up my first AM part this weekend the REAR SWAY BAR as I save pennies for HANN's stuff when I can

Thanks for the report Christien. I hope that these little rockets will keep themselves together for as long as the payment schedule with moderate driving and the occasional tromp of the right foot. It being the 1st gen. of this vehicle, I fell that there are going to be bumps in the road we're going to have to deal with, especially given that the fit and finish of some of the components are not of the best quality.
