Adios SS

Not gonna lie, watching it driven away across the dealership lot made me sad. I'm picking up a fully loaded Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track either tomorrow or Saturday. Definitely going to miss the HHR, but it was time to move along, and I wanted something different. Gonna miss the hatch and fold flat seats for sure. I'll probably keep checking in here out of habit and to see how some of the builds and projects are going, but thanks to everyone for answering questions and giving advice over the last five years!

Not trying to be argumentative, but what makes you say that? I was told the same thing from my Scion forum when I traded in the tC for the SS five years ago, and didn't believe that for a second. The only thing I've downgraded is cargo space, which I will miss for sure (really wish it was a hatch with flat folding seats, but oh well) and the gas mileage will be a little worse, but I drive 10-12k miles a year, so that's not a huge hit to me.

No, it's a NA V6. 348 hp. The 2.0T makes 274. Going to pick it up in about half an hour. Loved it on the test drive I took a few months ago though.

foxtrotraptor & wolfie, thanks! I'll still be around.

Should have just bought a Camaro SS. Hyundai is a waste of money and waste of North American economics.

Its incredible that they can get 348 hp n.a. out of a 3.8 V6. Puts the base Mustang's & Camaro's to shame. Bittersweet, indeed. But RWD is more fun than FWD. Congrats !
