It's labeled as a 2.2/2.4 high flow - maybe because the SS already has a 2.5" high flow exhaust from the factory? If you're upgrading SS exhaust might as well go 3" so it breathes better.

The 2nd cat is the only restriction, which is easily fixed by 'coring' the 2nd cat.
When your 'pushing' 350hp, you can go to a 3' cat-back & you will only gain a tenth in the quarter mile.
I went from 12.4s to 12.3s by going to a 3' cat-back.
The stock HHR SS free-flowing 2.5" system is so awesome, & if I knew that I would only gain a tenth, I wouldn't have changed it...
