drummerboy0088 please update us when you get the parts, the one link shows HHR and Cobalt SS fitment, the other doesn't
I called part GM parts counter guy, he confirmed those are the correct numbers for the HHR SS FE5.
Now we just need to figure out those brakes, pictures and measurements, please

Brakes are long gone - we tossed them when we started the LDK build. I do know there was about 1/8" of the pad that was NOT WORN AT ALL - looked like a ledge. I can measure the rotors next time I work on the SS.

I added the ZZP brembo brake kit when I bought the LDK motor, so I'm replacing the rotors, calipers, and brake pads anyway. That's one of the last steps once the LDK is in!

Three options in order of probability:
1. wrong rotors
2. wrong brackets
3. wrong pads

I'm thinking with the pads ridged like you say, wrong rotors!
Sadly a very common mistake!
