Well, 4 months later, my dealer just called to say that they got in a new set of shifter cables they ordered for my car. They had told me that they were backordered when they looked at my car in March. So I will have them installed, but I wont know if it fixes my frozen shifter problem till this winter. G.B.

I have never like the way the shifter feels on this car, there is no feel to it , it feels disconected, prolly due to plastic connectors and cables. I like to feel the gears slide together.

I finally managed to get my car to the dealer yesterday to have them install the new shifter cables. All I can say is "Wow". I cannot believe how much better the car shifts. I think it shifts better now that it ever did. The effort is really light and allot more positive. I wont know if the new cables fixed the freezing/sticking shifter problem until it gets cold again. I would bet that it will though. I am just so glad that they replaced the cables which makes the car so much better to drive. G.B.
