Heat issue

Need some help. I bought my SS in late March last yer and never really used the heat to much as it went in the garage imediatley and of course didnt use it in the summer. So I drove the car yesterday and its down to around 32 degrees here now and with the heat knob turned all the way I was getting cold air on my feet. The engine temp was fine, reading right around 200 degrees on the digital readout after driving around for awhile. I have had bad head gaskets and such before and this isnt the problem with this one. Its like the air temp isnt switching from cold to hot. Just wondering if anyone here has tackled this problem before so I dont take aprt more than I would need to.

There are 2 doors a blend door and a mode door. Either the actuators go bad or the doors go bad.

If you need an owners manual to get operating instructions put "online owners manual" in the search box.

If the car is properly warmed up( 200 degrees sounds like it is ), then it's most likely a blend door or temp selector problem.

You might want to check your fuses/relays. Looks like fuse #10 or #16 in the inside fuse block would be a place to start.

Also, if you haven't done so already, you should make sure your coolant level is where it should be. You probably did, but that's easy to check... An air bubble can cause that kind of problem.
