I bought one!

2009 automatic HHR SS, fully loaded with all the options (I believe). Silver, 53k miles. After all applicable charges (and I opted to buy the 3yr 36k mile warranty for used cars) I ended up at $700 over kbb. Not too bad.

Just one question. I know it is a true SS. However, there is no boost gauge on the A pillar. There's a digital one in the center. I thought they all had the boost gauges on the A pillar.

Congrats on the new SS.
Oh yeah. We gotta see pictures of the new ride. Post em up!

If you have the RPD(reconfigureable performance display) it takes the place of the pillar boost gauge. Boost is one of the displays.
The RPD was an option on the 09 SS. Standard in all the 2010 SS's.

Did you get an owners manual with it? If not, we have them on this site for download. There is "some" info about the RPD in the owners manual.

Got any questions, just ask us here. We've got some very knowledgeable SS members on this site.

Ok good so that's normal. Good. Yea RPD makes sense.

I'll have pictures tomorrow. Bought it too late in the evening to get my insurance agent on the phone :/

Oh and it has all the manuals and etc from the factory. Including the onstar cd...

First things first I'm gonna clean up the haze on the headlights

"We don't shave to equipment to do that"

Oh so you have no toothpaste or really fine rubbing compound and a paper towel? Because those will both work.

Oh well, I'm a bit OCD about stuff like that. I'll be washing, waxing, and shining this weekend. Also checking all the filters and taking a peek at everything.

on your new ride, it's a looker!

Rowan County huh, we're almost neighbors, and I'm pretty sure I recognize the dealership too.

Friendly Chevrolet Buick in Albemarle

If you ride through Salisbury occasionally and have a red SS, then you're the one who got me interested in the HHR SS. I saw it and had to have one.

I'm getting insurance ironed out today, then I'll have some more pictures.
