Besides black and red, do we know what other colors will be offered for the interiors? If I ordered one, let's say in SOM, what other interior color combos are optional? I remember something someone said in a thread here while back that it would be like a two-tone beige and black?

And I'm still a little confused about leather. Is that even an option? The seats in the pics look like they are part red leather (or is that red vinyl?) and part some kind of vinyl stretch fabric. They do look nice though. VERY nice!

Leather is not an option. The seats are supposedly cloth with suede inserts. I'm guessing that the colored trim is some sort of vinyl since there has been no mention of leather anywhere.

I can't wait until we can see pictures of the automatic version interior and the available colors other than the red ones we have seen a million times.

I thought I read in one of those magazine articles posted that the inserts would be suede.

Im sure later they will offer color matched inserts, say you got blue well instead of where the red was it will be blue, know what Im saying...

I doubt that very seriously. The costs would be way too high to offer that.

So if im reading this correctly they're saying the only choice is the "TRIM" color, so that would be one of the following three combos:

1) the one we've seen, red trim/black inserts



2) gray trim/black inserts

3) Black (ebony) trim with gray inserts.

HMMM it would be nice if there was some sort of beige or natural option to go with SOM. a tan option would go well with such a warm color as SOM.

Does anybody have any idea how and when we will get to actually see the different interior trim choices? I'm all set to order one of these HHR SS's as soon as my local dealership has the allocation to order them, but I obviously won't order an exterior / interior combination without ever having seen it.

I picked up a 2008 book yesterday and it had very little on the SS in it. It advises you to keep check in at Chevy.com for updates.
