Is this normal?

It is in the 30's here in Floridia the past couple of days, and I am only seeing a steady boost of about 8-10 PSI then it climbs wit the RPMs to 14-15 right before the shift, then back down to 8-10.........?????????

I am a "Newb"..... so is this the ECM regulating boost because of the ambient temperature? or have I finally been visited by the "lost vacumn" fairy?

Any help would be appreciated, before i decide to give up my car for a few days.

Intuition made me find what I thought were the vac hoses, and all seemed fine, I could be missing one or two......

how does it run....if it still runs ok i would say you are fine....colder denser air does not take as much boost to make the power.

1st and 2nd boost is limited around 5 to 10psi i think
3rd and 4th are still limited but not as much i have seen 16psi in the auto

this is most likely because they limit the HP in 1st and 2nd to 235
and in 3rd and 4th to 250

boost runs off your exhuast gas, plus the computer has decided that 1st and 2nd gear cant handle the truth. thats why the tune has the answer

On pcm controlled boost, the boost is always lower in colder weather. Denser air molecules in colder air so less boost is needed.
