Exclamation Posting in the SS Forum

Please follow these guidelines on posting in the SS forum;

Only post in the SS Forum if the post is SPECIFICALLY related only to an SS.
Examples:
Performance Seat
Turbo
MU3 Transmission
2.0 engine posts not related to performance
boost gauge
SS bumpers
etc..

If you own an SS and have a service issue that is also related to non-SS HHRs then don't post in the SS Forum.
Examples:
Wind Noise
Suspension Noise (yes they have different part numbers but the noises are the same)
HVAC
HID lighting
Audio
Sunroof
Paint problems
etc..

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

Good post Brad

To all site members: It is also helpful when you report things that may need moved etc. While the moderators try sometimes it is impossible to catch everything

Guess I'll be missing a lot of discussion. I'm not really interested in reading about the non-ss models. (Nothing personal!) Sometimes people go to forums for certain sections only. When you have 10-15 forums a day to frequent you learn how to focus on the information important to you.

Having a place for SS owners to get together and discuss their issues was a good thing IMO.

That is what the SS forum is for, discussing the SS related issues.
Sorry if this doesn't fit into your schedule.

I wonder if one of these days we (mods) will do something you like.

Wow only covering SS info in a SS Forum. Hmm What a Country!

I hope people understand it is so much easier to find needed info if you do not have to wade through unrelated info. SS or non SS.

Kind of like having your tools in the right tool box drawer. Keeping a screw driver in you hammer drawer make it a little harder to find unless you know where it is.

Falls under the topic of if it isn't broken why fix it?

Sorry you seem to feel my opinion on things is any less valuable then your's. I thought this was a discussion forum. Guess not.

Nothing wrong with you feeling that way Eric. It's called having an opinion. I was simply expressing mine. Nothing more, nothing less.

My thoughts on this are simple, that if it happens to an SS we could/should discuss it in the SS forum. Others don't agree and that's fine. I hold no malice towards them like has been projected towards me. My gut tells me that participation in other forums may be falling off and this is a way to help that but that's just a feeling.
