i think this mod will work for me
That info is somewhere in this website, but if I remember correctly.... You want to look for the connector box located on the passenger side of the "waterfall". There you will find the wire that needs to be grounded.

I ha the same. Just my ligths flashed. The BCM is at the front passenger seat. there is a panel to the left as you are facing front. It is where the fuses are. You must scrape the purple wire on pin 3 and attached a wire and groung it. It will then start.

My understanding is that manual tranny = no remote start. Think about it. Even the manual tells you to put it first and pull the e-brake when leaving unattended. How are you supposed to start it in gear?

well aftermarket remote starts will work with manual. you'd have to leave it in neutral though.

The open connector with all the wires showing is not the right connector. Pin 3 of the connector that you can just barely see in the lower right of your picture is what needs grounding. Pick any of the screws holding the BCM for a ground.

Does anyone know if this is possible on a 2007. The wiring harness appears to be different as there are four PU wires in the harness and none of them are in pin 3?

Thanks
