(I fixored your statement. Being a GM employee at the time, they were cutting everything that wasn't delivering huge cash flow.)

BTW, OP, that car looks so sweet! Is it matte finish, or is that digital trickery? If I ever get out of working for an auto company, I really want to move to AZ, and experience the desert. I have family in CO, and have visited. Love the sun!

Oh, I will be retiring in 10 years from now, unless I suddenly become enriched. Last Saturday's Powerball failed miserably.

The factory SS wheels were the same for all 3 years of production.

Its just the picture quality that makes it look matte.

Love AZ, when everyone is packing their cars up for the winter we are getting them out for nice cool weather! Summers can be rough, but luckily I'm a teacher and can go on vacation to get out of the heat!

Thats what I thought, but I know sometimes there are different manufacturers for the same wheels that makes a difference in quality (C5 Z06 comes to mind)
