opening a sunroof without power

opening a sunroof without power
Is there some kind of hidden manual crank for the sunroof? perhaps hidden by the headliner?
My wind deflector, like many many many others, has decided to break off at that infamous clip. And rather than buying an aftermarket deflector that will look out of place, I've decided to hunt a factory one at the wrecking yard tomorrow before work. But the problem of how will I open a sunroof on a dead car has entered my mind.
I don't even think I need the deflector, do I? Should I just grab the clip?

I'm surprised that the HHR doesn't have a manual crank setup for emergencies but I don't see it in the manual. Our HHR didn't have a sunroof but every vehicle I've ever owned had one had a manual system also. What are you supposed to do in the interim if there is a problem that leaves the sunroof open?
