HHR does NOT have wires, the coil packs mount on top of the plugs, and are VERY expensive. I'd put in some very good iridium plugs, check all your fluids and filters, and call it good.

What about timing belt when should it be changed? I just had the timing belt and water pump replaced on our 99 chrysler 300 for the second time 210 thousand miles.

I believe the HHR has a timing chain, should be good for a long, long time.

also i told my the dealer are cars HHR's dont have a fuel filter they said its all built in the fuel pump which is like $400 plus

ahhh read the previous postings in this thread - it's already got about everything detailed. Or just follow the maintenance schedule in your owners manual.
