Oil resetting question.

Changing the oil on my HHR was super easy. Don't even have to lift it up to get it done. I am having problems getting the oil life reset. Not sure how to do it. Any help on that? Thanks.

Turn key on but do not start.

Press the INFO and the return (arrow) button at the same time...

Then, tap info until you find "Oil Life Reset" or something similar.
Then HOLD the return button (arrow) until it says "acknowledged" i believe.

All set.
Turn key off, restart. check. done

Or you could just turn on key, fully depress gas pedal 3X in less than 10 seconds & it's re-set...

That's what I've been doing since I got mine..

Mopar uses same technique..

Or read the owners manual, and follow the instructions? :)

@pippi58oongstocking, I apologize for my delay in getting with you. I have been out of the office for a few days. I see that other members of the forum have helped you with the oil system resetting situation. Were you able to complete this task?
