Ya the same engineers that change their suggestions, and create recalls year after year,,, many times denying they were wrong??? I'll stick with proven results, after 62 years they seem to work 100%,,,,

If I thought my 1999 Suburban that has over 207,000 now without a valve cover coming off, and to this day I have never add oil or be stranded between 5000 to 7000 mile oil changes! The gauges are at cold idle, but will still hold 40 to 45 pounds at idle even in the heat of august on a long day of pulling the Center Console. The wrong time to find out you shoulda been a littler more critical of what all you believe!! If T have the same results with L'il Blackie,, I will consider it money and effort well spent!

I ain't never had a claim on my insurance either,, but I use it too,,, my thoughts are they don't make a dime if they don't sell me another,, my thought are if it runs and drives like new 20 years from now,, I don't have to buy another,,,,

Being an Iron Worker for 42 years and working closely with engineers I've learned many a fool have taken everything they say as fact,,, some are no longer with us,,, think about that! But these are real world results,, I'll let ya know if I screwed up L'il Blackie doing it my way in about 180,00 more miles,, if I don't screw up changing oil to soon!

I have no worries about the green comment, my oil is used for other purposes when I am done with it,, this cuts down on the demand of other less green results,, if the new engine is so much better than the proven 5.7 in my Maxi HHR,,, it should go over 300,000 with the same results,, if the motor is any better,, it danm sure won't get the abuse the 5.7 has for over 200,000 now,, again without anything!
