Timing chains are becoming a frequent problem, now that they are getting over the 10 year mark.

my 08 has ~160,000kms = ~100,000miles on original chain and tensioner. No sound yet, but for piece of mind this is on my to-do list this summer

I just changed my second one back in November 2016, it had 100,000 miles on it!
