Warning beeper not working
Hello, I have a 2008 HHR LT. The warning beeper that lets me know the head lights are on and the keys are in the ignition stopped working. I am thinking it is a fuse but I can not find out what one it is. Can anyone tell me what fuse it is? Thank You

The location of the fuse boxes, and the individual fuses are located in your Owners Manual. If you do not have a copy, you can download a copy from here: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...s-manual-3074/
I suspect that the problem is related to the speaker that the chimes come from - so you may have a stereo problem, speaker issue, or if on that model the chimes volume can be raised/lowered:
"Chime Level Adjustment:
The radio is used to adjust the vehicle's chime level. To change the volume level of the chime, press and hold push-button 6 with the ignition on and the radio power off. The volume level will change from the normal level to loud, and LOUD will appear on the radio display. To change back to the default or normal setting, press and hold push-button 6 again. The volume level will change from the loud level to normal, and NORMAL will appear on the radio display.
Note: Each time the chime volume is changed, three chimes will sound to indicate the new volume selected. "

As whopper stated, it's probably because the left front speaker is not working. That's the speaker the chime sound goes through.
Based on other people who posted up with "no chime" issues, it usually turned out to be a speaker gone bad.

I can testify Firemangeorge's claim. When I purchased my 09, I discovered the left front speaker was not working. When the dealer replaced it..."Hey, what's this dinging sound?" Good information on changing the volume of the chime, too. Thanks.

Lots of good info here on replacing bad speakers - just give the search tool at the top a go - I'm sure you will find some good tips and hints.
