just read your article on the hhr turn signal fix. great write up. before I start I was wondering if there is room to double up the springs? thinking that the extra material would make it work better and last longer.
    thanks

    Hi,

I have recently stumbled upon your post regarding reducing the DRL light sensor's sensitivity. I was able to locate the wires (Yellow with a Black tracer and Light Green with a Black tracer) on the backside of the BCM.
However there were two yellow wires and two light green wires. Measuring the voltage under different light conditions on those four wires, I choose two of them and connected them with a 4.7K Ohm resistor as you suggested.
The low beam now turns on later I think (it has to be darker outside for them to turn on). When driving out from the dark garage (low beam automatically on) to the open, they turn off after about 30 seconds like before. However when driving from the open into the dark garage, the low beam doesn't turn anymore as it should. They only do when turning the ignition off and then on again.
I have experimented with different resistor values to no avail. Did you make any similar experiences? I am grateful for any thoughts/suggestions!
    Patrick
