Hello prod. I am new here and noticed that you helped with a hatch release problem for another member. My project is different and hopefully easier.
What I want to do is add a new momentary pushbutton on the inside of the rear hatch door so I can unlatch the door from the inside. I would prefer not to use the manual 'emergency release'. It seems simple to wire in (in series) an additional release button with the outside hatch release button. I haven't torn the door open yet, thought I'd do some research first.

hey prod..show is not tied in with CJs show..alot of effort was put forward into helping them out by myself and 3 or 4 others on the Can side..only to have CJ screw things up for everybody..at one point and time we had queen st in the falls shut down for the shine by the town of n falls..and sponshorship..I think maybe good ol Charlie is a bit threatned by me and decided to stay in lewiston at sum cheap ass motel for a frozen burger..not my idea of a show for drivin that far..and everyone else..he said he didnt care about us so we decided to do the Can Side after all ourselves..show is coming along great,we have good sponsors..race and street sent up sum stuff for us..we have my wife doin free pics of cars..there is more to do within walking distance of show than u can shake a stik at..no bored wifes or kids..im workin on CRUISE t shirts for everyone and trophies..97.7 has been contacted for the community cruiser(see if we can get sum swag too)
