help

07 hhr. If I bypass (tan/ black, tan wi res) from modules; EPS, BCM, VCIM, EBCM, TC.M and up to my ECM (High Speed GMLAN) would I still have 12 volts to my starter solenoid, running lights, radio when the key is on? My neutral safety switch is already bypassed. My plan is to get 12 volts to my starter solenoid when key is cranked. ie. motor and transmission are completely removed. I don't want to hook up a push start button. I want a carbureted engine to start with the key and have all the luxuries inside still power up by bypassing the these modules and still using the fuse box. xxxxxx@yahoo.com or on here. Thanks!

Publishing you email address on the internet is one of the worst things that can be done in this age of identity theft. I have edited it out.

I think you would be best off ripping all of the wires out. You really don't want to mess with GMLAN. If you remove any of the modules the network breaks. The radio an HVAC and SDM are all on it too.

X3 no gains to be had! And the emissions tests would never be passed

I think it is time to close this thread. Promoting the bypassing of safety features cannot be accepted.
