performance exhaust

when we got our new to us HHR it sounded louder than some of the others that we had test drove. so i crawled under it and the muffler says GM performance accessories. so im assuming thats why its louder? i searched some threads on here to see what a stock muffler looked like and saw it looked different then saw what it said

GM Performance usually means SS.

GMPP Part number 19158628, was available for 2.2 and 2.4 HHR's , it was made by Borla. You can find it on EBay still

yea my muffler looks identical to the one pictured and looks to be SS

SS as in stainless steel or your HHR is an SS? Your profile shows your year as 2006 or 2008.
