Blacked out Grille and Mirror Covers

Just wanted to share Greggs not so new look (new picture)! under that black plasti dip is the chrome appearance package. The stock chrome grille was a little to "loud" for my taste.

Looks good! I think you should do the emblem in orange, just for a little pop!

Plasti dip was first developed as a solution for all metal handle tools to create a permenant yet easily removable rubber coating to act as a handle. You could literally "dip" your handle in, let it dry, and there you go a handle!!! They then developed an aerosol can version that people started using on other things most notably car rims in the north as it acted as a protective barrier against road salt/ sand and such. Now they have any color you can imagine and it is safe to use on nearly anything on your car save for headlights. Some people paint there whole car with the stuff. If the job is done right it only comes off when YOU want it too, and its as simple as peeling it off. Really cool stuff. and only costs a couple hundred to cover an entire care with a crazy variation in options. I think the site you can go to is dipyourcar.com and check it out! Great thing is if you paint your car or rims with it and get sick of the look or want a new color you just peel and reapply! Just took it off my rims because I was getting sick of the black look and my stock polished aluminum were just as dazzling as before I put the stuff on. I was amazed to be honest.

Thanks! For being 10 years old with just under 170,000 mi I'd say Gregg isn't half bad looking!

Can you really get plasti dip off easily? I've never used it, but would like to on some wheels.
