LED fog and headlights
Any of you guys considering changing fog light and or headlight bulbs to LEDs check out the LEDs at JDM Astar. These are very high quality units and are so easy to install. I have replaced both fog and headlight bulbs in my '08 LT. Very satisfied. Josea Cornejo at JDM Astar was very helpful in making the right choice for my HHR. The difference between OEM bulbs and the LEDs are very impressive.

Yeah, I had the led headlights for a while. They didn't last too long, the output was bad but they looked cool. And they used to reflect all over the place so they were bad for other drivers.
Right now I'm in the process of an HID retrofit.
Also, I haven't tried LEDs in the fog lights yet, but I really want to try to make a sharp cutoff line both top and bottom by blocking some of the lens to see if that works. That way there is no reflection from the ground and the beam should be able to cut through fog!

So far I am well pleased with the light output and pattern it puts out. The headlight LEDs I purchased have the ability to change the light pattern after you install them. They are the 8th generation of LED bulbs. I hope you find a bulb of whatever type that works well for you.
