mold of tailslights?

can anyone here make a mold of the lower taillight lense "with the reverse" and make the entire lense clear?

I want to have 4 clear ones to repalce all of my lights and install red led's for the bulbs.

i dont like the aftermarket lights becasue of the black ring around them. plus too expensive

Probably the only option you'll have are the clear ICPW lights, the black ring is actually part of the light assembly/mounting ring, hard to get around that except by hiding it with a chrome trim ring.

Kind of like these......

well i figured if i can get the lenses clear, i could paint the black part that they mount to white.

ive seen on alumalites website that its easy to make the lenses but i just dont have the patience for that. ive done it before on some odd shaped lights and just dont want to do it again.

here is the link http://www.alumilite.com/howtos/Tail...oEquipment.cfm

If the lens was removable from the mounting socket, that would be easier..

One could wizz wheel the lenses off, I suppose. Then do a mold & make some clear ones.

I forget which member it was (I believe it was Lunchbox) used this stuff to make a mold for, and make his own rear clear markers
