Like this 3M film

3M Paint Protection | Paint Protection Film - clearmask.com

I use this

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Hood-S...Roll,2608.html

To protect my fenders , rear doors, hood and head lights. It cheap and works ,
I'm overly OCD so I change it every two or three years.

That might work but there are mylar covers that are cut to fit the HHR. There use to be lots of sources but it seems most either no longer carry it or they have gone out of business. Chuck

Ebay or your local window tint shop.

They may have disappeared on account of overheating.

Sorry, but I'm not looking for these thin self stick sheets of plastic. There are heavy gauge myler pre-cut to the HHR shape, protective covers. I thought perhaps someone on the forum would know where to find them. I guess I'll keep on searching. Chuck

I've never seen already cut to shape just the cut to shape, I agree they're a PITA to fit and get the bubbles out of! I do a deep dive and find you some!

Ok! I found these, jeez don't call me Siri! Nobody! I'm serious!
Ok, I'm Siri!

They were available from some of the sponsors here on the forum, but those sponsors are now either gone or they no longer carry them. Chuck
