Aftermarket Cup Holders

Hey, my name is Jay. New member, somewhat new owner (of a 2011 LT; bought it in September. Absolutely love the car). Like many, I dislike the useless front cup holders, but barring any real modifications, I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of aftermarket cup holders that might just drop into the placement of the stock ones (which could give more room and also raise the platform). If not, the rear cup holder is a good size and can hold, at least, a Polar Pop, but was also wondering if there would be another drop in accessory that gives it two vs the one. I could handle that at least.

Makes me wish I had a 3D printer to just make my own lol

to the forum Jay!

There are some aftermarket cup holder gadgets that allow you to make the factory cupholders more useful.

Give this thread a read by clicking the link below....

Thanks! Unfortunately, it looks like one of the links is dead and the other shows the product not being available, but something like that could work. I just need to find one now lol. Still, would also be nice to see one convert the rear drink holder to a double. Haven't seen that yet.

EDIT: I did find the first one at another retailer for $7.99, at Auto Barn

Yeah, I should have verified the links, but our Wi-Fi is flaking out thanks to some severe weather blasting through.

Try our Search function at the top of the page, pop in "Aftermarket Cup Holders" or "Cup Holders" and it'll spit out a good bunch of threads for you to check out.

A couple of our members who are handy with woodworking have made some very creative DIY cup holder setups over the years.

Too bad those cup holders won't work in a 2011. They moved them between the seats instead of in front of the shifter, like in 2008.

Adjustable ones will work for the front (though the hand brake would somewhat get in the way). I'd just have to have the adjusting portion of them to adjust outward opposite of one another. QuikTrip cups and my Gatorade water bottle don't fit in the stock ones (though the Gatorade bottle does fit in the rear housing). The one hole, two cup one would work great if the openings were adjustable (maybe spring loaded), as I could use that to work in the rear. If only I had the resources and know-how to make my own (and have both form and function).
