You bet! Can't wait. There is a pretty good spot to eat on the grounds at 4:30 pm or so on Thursday or Friday nights. Used to have a fabulous turkey dinner, but they changed caterers. Now has a different menu, but sure tastes great after a day on the field. It is located up at the top, near the main entrance (not John Deere - up above). It's in one of the buildings. We might have a G2G there. Any interest?

Leaving for Spring Carlisle on Weds evening. Will camp there on Weds and Thurs evenings and head home on Friday afternoon. If anyone wants to G2G on Thursday afternoon for dinner, stop by the restaurant by Gate 3 - its the one beond the restrooms, headed towards the field near Rt. 81. Will be there at 5:00 PM. Good food as well.

Carlisle Events seems to be going downhill................Everyone we have attended lately has more empty spaces!.........yesterday was no exception! lots of people there, but lots and lots of empty spaces and lots and lots overpriced junk.........
and it really hot and dusty in the afternoon.........I bet today was a real bit*h, heat wise!!

I went Weds evening and stayed Thurs & Friday. Had a long talk with one of the inside vendors who sells old time stuff and he was really unhappy with guys selling Nanos and iPod accessories. I don't blame him. Hate to see it going the way of new WalMart type of stuff.
On the other hand, I hear these guys complaining that nobody spends any money, yet prices for garbage are through the roof. Some of the vendors act like their stuff is part of a museum and don't seem to want to even sell it their prices are so high.
I still love Carlisle and hope they can continue to attract quality vendors and keep some of the newer junk to a minimum.
