Well this is what i ended up with. not a complete success not a complete failure, definitely a good learning experience. i had the bra going across the hood as well but i think i waiting to long to take the tape off cause when i did it made the plasti dip come up. so i had to take it off the hood cause it looked crappy. ill keep it this way for a little bit then try again. it is very easy to use though, i had never painted car before and i didnt do to bad. took 2 cans of black and about 2hrs to wash, tape, and paint. i look forward to working more with it.

Hey, it's a start man. Did you black out part of the grill at the same time? pssst, kinda hard to tell, cause THE PICTURES ARE TOO SMALL!! (just tweakin on ya man - ) edit: oh, I just realized it's an SS - yeah the pictures are a bit small for old eyes

I've done my winter wheels and they turned out great (IMO) - and they are holding up great so far. I'm thinking of trying it on the bumpers bumps and see what they look like - and maybe on the rear door rock guards, but I want to do the grill first.

Yeah, they say you got to take the tape off immediately after laying that last thick coat - practice makes perfect I suppose.

Not sure where you are buying the Plasti-dip, but I have been picking it up at home depot for $5.95 a can.

More pictures man. :-)

Yeah I plan to play with it a lot more. May even buy the paint gun and do the whole car come this summer. I bought the the gloss wheel kit from dip your car but I think my future purchases will be from Lowes are home depot, costs about the same. Its really is a great product and very user friendly. Next time I'll definitely take that tape off right away.

I did a car condom. If you dip by car want to warm the can up first so mists out and lays down better, also use the old sprayers buttons for a bigger fan and more coverage.
