Thread revival!


Plasti-dip sprayed the bowties yesterday.







Looks a lot better than the yellowish, cracking stock bowtie.

And yes/no..they make a gloss enhancer that you 'topcoat' the plastic dip,, at least now they do.

yes they do make a "glossifier" i have used it myself. I did my rims a little while ago on my SS since my clear coat was peeling like crazy on them and they were looking a little rough. Painted them black and used the glossifier on top, went pretty well, not as glossy as a painted rim, but the more you use the glossier it gets. Also had to peel one rim completely back off as the clear coat bubbled slightly and as I peeled it peeled more of the original clear coat off! I am looking into getting the Anthracite color from the website and redoing them
