Intermittant P1174 - Fuel Trim Cylinder Balance
I've been having this problem for a while. Engine will throw the P1174 code, then it'll disappear for a day, throw it again, a couple times, and then it'll just disappear for several weeks.
Mechanic thought it was plugged injectors, so I ran 94 Octane and $40 worth of injector cleaner for the next while. It cleared it up for a couple weeks, and now its back... Any ideas? 06 Spring Edition 2.4L w/ <50,000 miles |
I changed the Intake & Exhaust solenoids about a week ago which took care of the CEL and TCL problem I had.
For the past 2-3 days, I'm now having to exact same problem as rotaryboy23 describes in his message. So, I'm wondering if anyone got a permanent solution for this. Thanks for any input/help! |

Bad fuel Injectors? I had the same code, during 6 months. I tried to swap coils, change spark plugs...I just replaced the 2 & 3 Injectors, and no issues again! BTW, fuel injectors cleaners won´t solve anything related to this code or P0300, P0301....
