2.2 Spark Plug change?
Ok, I'm pretty sure I saw the 'how to' on doing this spark plug change work but can't seem to locate it here on the HHR net site. Is it gone? Or did I see that somewhere else?

What exactly are you looking for? Spark plug change is pretty straight forward.

X2. Remove air box plastic. Remove plug wires(don't mix them up) Remove plugs. Spark plug socket and long extension needed Put new plugs in with care. Don't cross thread. Torque to specs Put plug wires back on in correct order Put plastic back on. I recommend changing the air filter (if its old) too because you'll have it apart |

When I was looking at my misfire issue a couple of weeks ago I pulled the plugs. With my 2.2, when you pull off the coil "cover", the plug wires all come off together, no way you could could mix them up, unless you really tried... It's all one piece with the coil packs.
That is because you have an 06. The 06 used the 2 coil/4 boot all in one unit. From 07 and up they switched to individual coils sitting on the boots connecting to the plugs. Still pretty simple to keep the wire harness correct since they are only etended inches out of the main wie loom. Note this is not my rusted pic lol. http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6036/6...30db8f41_z.jpg |

5/8, make sure you get a spark plug socket. Apply a bit of lube of some sort to the rubber grabber, or you'll be sorry when you can't get the socket out of the hole after installing the new plug.
