Yep i'm going in for a second time. Not sure why they just replaced half and not whole thing. It worked for a while and then it started again. Make sure they check both halves.

I had a "clunk" in my 2006 last year. Replaced part of the steering shaft per the TSB that was out. Fixed the problem.

This is a common issue. Mine is in th shop now for one as well as the shifter. So far all of the places I have read from owners of the same issues

Water in car
Steering column
Shifter
Radio on turn on

I have all but the first (so far) have not seen rain yet,
Have the car 2 weeks LOL
Im realizing why the prev owner may have traded it after 13 months LOL
Cant complain for$14k though

I have the same problem with my 06 and have had the steering column replaced 2 times with no results. Mine has been in the shop 9 times to try to fix the problem and GM finally said that they would not touch it any more. Now I have a Lemon Law filed and my attorney said it is a problem that GM has been experiencing nation wide. Good luck..

Unhappy

I am currently experiencing this rattle from around the steering column, looks like I will need to get this looked at one of these days.
