Question Air Conditioning Fan

I don't know if this is just me being really picky, or if it actually is a problem. I rented an HHR in Florida last week, and it was great but when i got back, i noticed that the fan that blows the cool air in the car didn't blow nearly as hard in my 2006 as it did in the rental 2009. Now i don't know if they have a better fan in the newer models or if mine is broken. Regardless, i was curious if anyone knows if this can be fixed/upgraded. Thanks for any help that can be offered.

Are your vent controls cycling all of the air to the dash..?

I have had this set incorrectly before.

yeah i've made sure of it. it's set to blow out of the dash, the fan is up all the way, and the Max Air is on. It's definitely set correctly

Check your cabin filter lately? it may need changed, the intake is through the filter.

I swear mine isn't blowing out as hard as it used to be... I did happen to just replace the cabin filter, so I know that's fine. It blows out hard of the right hand vent on the dash waterfall....

I'm thinking it's just my imagination though...

My long distance guess would be its a damper door not opening all the way!
