Post Research Topic: Airbox replacement mounting grommets

Note: This is a research topic. Please post only information for the grommets(insulators) requested in this post. Any off topic posts will be deleted. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Can anyone give me the correct part # for the 2 large mounting grommets at the back side of the airbox? Dealer first tried to give me 3 of the same ones(12563914), which was the smaller one up front. Next they game me 2 of 19177871 but they are also wrong.

Or records show the following - Air Filter Box mounting Grommet - GM calls it an "Insulator"
- P/N - 12563914

That is the small one up front. The rear 2 are twice as big. The 1253914 can be made to work on the rear 2 but they are not right. The holes in the airbox is a little too big for them and they just pop right out.

I guess none of you have had the airbox off an HHR lately. Few pictures attached. This is the one I'm looking for.

The one I need on the left, and 12563914 on the right. The parts diagrams are wrong! 2 of these bigger ones go in the back. 1 of 12563914 goes in the front.

What about the part number molded into the part?

FWIW, I just put a piece of carpet padding on the front stud.

Your housing is different from either of mine. Mine had 2 on the back and a leg in the front with the grommet that got destroyed the first time I took it off.

Do the smaller ones fall out of the holes even after the stud is in them? As I recall that expands them considerably.
