blower motor only works on high
Hi guys, I have an '06 HHR 2.4. I have had the usual problems i.e.. front end suspension clunking, blower motor frying the resistor, etc. I cured the front end problem by replacing the sway bar links and modifying the bushings. It took me about three resistors until I found out how to fix the water leaking onto the blower motor. Now I still have only high speed on the blower motor after replacing the resistor again. Fuses are good the relay seems to be working fine all the wiring is ok also. Any ideas???? thanks, padlock bob.

With the early 2006 HHR's- You need to change the buty cover 1st with a hard plastic cover(clean off hole & apply sealant). Use the old buty cover as a template to make the new cover.
After you have replaced the buty cover then- replace the resistor. If you DO NOT make the repairs in this order, the problem will happen again.

I also agree- please look at the connectors & make sure they are 100% clean.
