Thumbs down wiper failure

While driving down the freeway in a rain storm my driver side window wiper stoped dead ... passenger side still worked ... got freindly with my wife untill I could get off road ... major safey hazard ... canadian tire in Hamilton got my car in and fixed "Bushing" said it was a cheve problem ...got me on my way ... two and a half hours home ... asked dealer and he said no problem ... cdn tire had used a universal bushing kit that had to be modified to fix the car as this was on a weekend .... mon the dealer said "bring it back next week and we can look at it .... parts will have to be ordered ... we don't know what could have caused one wiper to stop while the other kept working ... problems with the HHR maybe cdn tire has the answer ...ED

Sound like Canadian Tire has at least one fella full of ingenuity Probably wouldn't qualify to work for GM hes too sharp would rock the boat. Glad they got you back on the road,BTW what kind of tires are Canadian can't recall seeing any.
