Code P0010

My 06 is showing a P0010 code. Check engine light came on and the Tranny started hard shifting.

I have read up on the code but have no idea how to perform the checks.

Any help would be appreciated.

i found this through google
HTH

HHR has an intermittent P0010 and and even more intermittent p0013. This pertains to intake cam actuator circuit malfuction and intake cam angle performance (not suprisingly) respectively

Cam positioning sensor bank1 replaced. It is located under the air cleaner. All is good.

Question also throwing a p0010...

I read your fix and was curious where did you find the part, also how much did it cost?
I also noticed I think you had the problem in '09, just wondering.
Thanks, Jam

At that time it was a dealer only item.

If you are referring to the Camshaft Positioning SOLENOIDS (not sensors) see thread https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/camshaft-position-actuator-solenoid-valve-replacement-w-pics-p0010-11-p0013-14-a-28779/ especially at the end where the latest part numbers are detailed.
