Codes P0014 & P0326
A couple of days ago my t/c light comes on followed shortly after by the check engine light. checked and cleared codes ( p0014 & p0326), exhaust cam position performance, and knock sensor performance.Next day the same sequence happened again.Today, day 3, t/c light came on within .5 mile. 25 mile drive to work, engine light has not come on yet. Anyone have ideas as to what to look for. 2006 lt, 233,000kms

Try the search function.
There are several threads regarding these trouble codes and actuators.
edit: I seem to recall you've had this problem before.

Why bring it up again if you didn't bother to followup last time?
That was 2 years ago. So maybe you should fill in what was done back then to fix it. Or have you had this problem for 2 years?

I'd go after replacing the Exhaust solenoid again (or checking the connection to it first) before looking at the knock sensor issue (it may be dependant on the solenoid acting up - at least tackle it one problem at a time).
You can also try changing the oil and filter first before replacing the solenoid as the solenoids can be affected by dirty oil.

ok, thanks. just changed the oil 2 weeks ago. it was quite dirty, only like 3% life left. at the higher milage on my car i think i will start changing oil at maybe the 40- 50% range. may even go synthetic. may pull the solenoids just to see if they are dirty and if so clean them up a bit. if it isn't broke don't fix it.

I wouldn't both trying to clean it - way too delicate an item. I'd just replace it, and be done with it.
I tried synthetic on my 2006 - and went back to conventional oil as it drank the synthetic like crazy. But let us know how it goes if you try the synthetic.

??? I'd say if it's spitting out trouble codes , then something IS broke and you need to fix it.
