'08 dying at parking lot speeds

Group, my wifes '08 has died on her a couple times while backing out of parking spots (extreme low speed and changing gears ), I haven't had any problems with my '07. She took it to the dealer and after a bunch of checks nothing was found, has anyone her experienced this?

Have not experienced this yet in my HHR but I had this happen with my old car, Dodge Magnum. Check engine light came on with that tho and they still were not able to figure it out.

I am sure someone here will be able to offer suggestions.

Actually, I just got my 08 and it seems that sometimes when I'm going really slow the car will jerk a little and feel like it is about to die when I am almost stopped. Also, I feel a small vibration in my steering which is small, so I hope it is normal and not an issue, but I guess could be somewhat the same problem. I will update.

My '08 died for the first time in the parking lot the other day. Its only happened once, so who knows...

Here's what happened: Went to Lowes, got some mulch, started the car to cool it down while I loaded the mulch, drove away, it died, after I re-started it there were no other problems...just chalked it up to the HHR having a bad day.

I did when I first got the car, but haven't lately, thanks for the reminder; I'll check that tomorrow.

Never ceases to amaze me how this keeps coming up, even though maybe one person has ever had this be an "issue" that has never been proven.

Take it to the dealer and see if there's any codes. Sounds like maybe a TCC or even a fuel pump issue.
