Anyone else has some difficulty when shifting?
into 5th on their HHR SS? I have driven many manual vehicles but never owned one. All the gears seem normal but 5th is a little tough to go into. Just wondering if people with 5 speeds have the same issue. If not, I will take it to the dealer.

My 5th gear was about 50/50 when I first got my SS. Around half the time it wouldn't want to go into gear, I would have to back out and then it would go in. Read some posts on here debating this issue and if the gears just need to be broken in a bit. I have just over 3000 miles on my SS now and I would say 5th is about 70/30 going into gear, so it has improved, but still not 100 percent. I'll give it a little more time, see if it is truely just a breaking in issue, or a problem that won't go away......
