Kit has surging problem

I have a problem with a surging of the engine when cursing at any speed.
I can feel it and see the tack changing just a few hundred RPM (2-3 hundred) It is not constant but shows up often. My gas mileage and everything else is OK the engine has 95,000 miles on it and doesn't use any oil yet which is unbelievable for sure. I have always used Mobil One in it and maybe this is the reason it is just fine on oil.

Thanks again and Blessings to each of you and everyone you love.
Sounds like you need to get a transmission shop to look at it.

I have the same surging problem but at lower speeds especially in stop and go traffic. I am working with CJ to figure this out but had a question for Donbrew, what would the transmission have to do with surging? I have just loaded CJ's engine and transmission tune. Also I had the plugs checked, coil packs and throttle body cleaned so just looking for possible places to check. I am doing some data logging today for CJ(who has been a big help) so they can search for a reason.

Slipping torque converter, gear searching among others.

How would the RPM changing not affect speed of the vehicle?

When approaching a light and I let off the gas pedel the rpm drops to1K then might jump to 1500 but the speed still decreases also sitting at a light it will jump from 750 to 1K but my foot is on the break so I can't tell if speed would have changed. On the freeway when I set the cruse control I don't get any surging that I can notice thru the tach.
