I wonder how the BCM got damaged? Is there an inspection after you get recertified for Switzerland, or does the import company just sign off? I'm thinking somebody did some programming that they didn't need to do.

Do all of the other "euro" functions work now? As I understand it some lighting functions work different from USA. Like "city" lights, "highway" lights, "road" lights, "backup" light and "parking" lights. All of those are controlled by the BCM. Just asking for my info.

i see that the new BCM "fixed" his problem but i thought that the "lower" brake lights and "upper" brake light were seperately fused...??...no..??

I remember having produced a short circuit on the manual clutch pedal back when I installed my custom DRL relay. Maybe that damaged something in the BCM. No programming was done on the old BCM prior to the brake lights issue.

All functions are in Euro mode as far as I can tell. Especially no DRL function out of the box... I had to take the car in a second time as they forgot to enable the fog lights the first time around.
