Still need help
My 2010. I checked all the things Chevy Mgr wrote in that post. I found I have voltage at my connector at the solenoid with the key on or off. is this normal? Turned the check engine light off. I also found out if I turn the key switch on and wait about 10 seconds, to start the engine, the check engine light dose not come back on. What's up with that? It also only happens with less than 1/2 tank of fuel.

I have a 2005 Malibu Maxx LT, 3.5L V6, with this similar problem. Replaced the purge valve, clear code and no problems till the next time I start the car. Is there a similar electrical problem with this engine? Also the remote start quit working in the same time frame.

Thanks, ChevyMgr
I'll check the Connections as per your service information Today, and Front connection is OK, i check the back connection and the same color wire (Red and White) is broken, The part that has the wired broken is the conector that goes to Vapor Canister Vent Valve, i fix with electric weld, NO MORE check engine light and the car is running fine now. Thanks Again.
