You also have a 100,000 mile drive train warranty from GM! Go to a GM dealer when the CEL is on. This is an argument for not resetting codes.

On my 2002 chev express van, I had an issue with the lockup on the torque converter. In my case it was clunking in and out of lockup while cruising... turns out it was the camshaft position sensor.

100,000 miles is still more than 50,000 miles. It is a GM warranty on the vehicle, has nothing to do with ownership except the inception date.

fwiw: GM 3 years or 36K miles bumper to bumper warranty, & 5 years or 100K on Powertrain Warranty..

You're Covered. Enjoy it while it lasts..

PS: Warranty doesn't matter how many owners had it. It is still covered..
