Rebuilt axles (includes both ends) go for about $80 each at Autozone they took me an hour labor each in my garage. Maybe they also replaced the bearings, about $120 each labor included since they need to be R&R'd anyway. That might be what you mean by "both ends of the axle joints" The axles come as an assembly including the inner an outer joints, nobody in their right mind rebuilds the joints themselves, it is cheaper to buy new/rebuilt axles.

One thing I learned about replacing the axles is to count the bellows on the rubber boots, they should have more than 4 or they will fail in 20,000 miles.

Having my torque converter and tranny rebuilt next week both wheel bearings are bad too.
